2. Hosting (Strato)
Hosted by: Strato AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin. Server log files (IP, date, file) max. 7 days (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). DPA pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR in place.
3. Fonts
Headings use the „Kaushan Script“ typeface. It is embedded directly into the page and served locally — no connection to Google Fonts or other external providers, and no data (in particular no IP address) is transmitted to third parties. All other text uses system fonts.
4. Service-Area Map & Language Setting
The service-area map is only loaded after you click it (two-click solution). This retrieves the Leaflet mapping framework via the CDN provider unpkg.com and the map tiles from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom); your IP address is transmitted to these providers in the process. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without a click, no transfer takes place. In addition, your language choice (German/English) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the site appears in your chosen language on return visits — purely functional, no tracking, no disclosure (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG). No tracking, analytics or marketing cookies are used; a cookie banner is therefore not required.

Contact data stored to process your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Retention: 6 months.
6. Contact Form
Information submitted via the form (type of animal plus details about the animal and its condition, your name, email, phone, location) is used solely to process your inquiry and is sent to me by email via the mail server of Strato AG (Germany) — no disclosure to third parties, no transfer outside the EU, no external spam protection (no reCAPTCHA). Legal basis: your consent via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the handling of your inquiry as a pre-contractual measure (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time (informally to info@tierphysioatkins.de). Retention: 6 months, unless a business relationship arises.
7. Online Booking (IntelliVet)
Online appointment booking is handled via a link to IntelliVet's external booking page (app.intellivet.cloud). Simply visiting this website transmits no data to IntelliVet. Your details are only sent once you click the link and book there — from that point IntelliVet is the controller. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Invoicing/booking records retained up to 10 years (§ 257 HGB / § 147 AO).
8. WhatsApp
The page merely contains a link to WhatsApp (wa.me). No WhatsApp service is loaded when the page opens. Only when you click the link does WhatsApp open and your data is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Dublin), possibly including transfer to the USA. Legal basis: your consent through use of the channel (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), revocable at any time by not using it.
9. Google (Reviews & Map)
No Google services are embedded on this website (no Google Fonts, no Google Maps, no Google Analytics/Tag). Google only appears as an outbound link, e.g. to our Google review profile. A connection to Google (Google LLC, USA) is only established once you click such a link; Google's privacy policy then applies.
10. Your Rights (Art. 15–21, 77 GDPR)
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
